- Spraying Pesticide Tips
Given that agricultural pesticides are very dangerous substances for living beings, especially humans; using caution and complying with the following tips in spraying are highly recommended: The step of making the poison solution (mixture of high concentration of poison with water) is the most dangerous moment for the sprayer/operator.
Because hands, body skin, mouth, and lungs are directly exposed to the chemical and physical reactions of pure toxins with water. Therefore, using anti-acid/anti-poison gloves, glasses and special spraying masks is highly recommended. During the spraying, the stage avoids eating, drinking, or even smoking. Wash your hands and face with warm water and soap after spraying. Keep spraying tools and poison containers out of reach of children and pets in the shed or storage and inside suitable and locked boxes on the shelf.
- Mixing Poisons
Agricultural poisons (insecticides, pesticides, fungicides, and acaricides) in combined combat they can mix together and even a combination of two fungicides, or two pesticides or herbicides will have a synergistic feature (double and effective effect) but in some circumstances will have an antagonistic effect (negative or harmful effect). Hence, it is essential to get manufacturing and herbal medicine opinion before mixing poisons.
- How to prepare poison solution
Add the suggested amount of poison to water and mix them properly considering previously provided hygiene notes and tips. Fill the sprayer tank with water up to its half volume and carefully pour the poison solution into the tank. Then add extra water to the tank until it is full while stirring the solution. It is recommended not to use poison solution made yesterday or days before.
